What is The Customer Collective?

The Customer Collective is an online community setup and run by Kmart and our research partner, T garage. The community is designed to understand you better, helping us put our customers at the heart of everything we do.

We’ll be reaching out to you every couple of weeks with big (and small) questions on a variety of topics. Your input will help us give you the best possible shopping experience! There are also regular weekly discussions and shorter activities available for you to take part in!

I am currently on a waitlist, when can I expect to join the community?

We will be refreshing the community with new members as required - as existing members leave the community, we will be inviting new members from the waitlist to join the conversations.

Why can’t I join the community if I work in the Media/Journalism industry?

The Customer Collective is a confidential community for our customers. For any media related queries, please contact our corporate affairs team at kmartcorporateaffairs@kmart.com.au

How does the points system work? *EXISTING MEMBERS*

The Customer Collective operates with a points system where you get rewarded for activities you complete, even when you screen out! The rewards for each activity will be displayed in the introductory text. When you reach 500 points, you’ll be able to redeem these points for eGift cards. Points can be accumulated in order to redeem larger eGift cards. 500 points = $5.00, 1000 points = $10.00 and so on.

For short and long surveys, points are assigned 24 hours after you complete the activity.
For activities that run over multiple days (e.g. a 3-day forum), points will be assigned 24 hours after the last day.

How do I redeem my points? *EXISTING MEMBERS*

To redeem or view your points, you can access them in the rewards section in the top navigation bar. On the My points dashboard, you can see a snapshot of your points from The Customer Collective as well as a log of your points transaction history. https://customercollective.insightiq.com.au/MyAccount#mypoints

By clicking on the link on this page, you’ll be able to convert your points to eGift cards through our gift card provider Gift Pay as long as they’re in multiples of 500

Once you click your reward, you will be taken to Gift Pay, our gift card partner, where you can choose how to spend your gift from a variety of major retailers, entertainment venues, dining, online shopping and more. You use it by showing the eGift Card to the cashier on your smartphone's screen, or by printing it out at home and taking it to the store. Many eGift Cards can also be used online, by entering the gift card code and PIN during the checkout process. Generally, an eGift Card can be used across more than one transaction, until the full value has been used up.
